MIAMISBURG, OHIO (PRWEB) March 21, 2013
ExpeData, an innovative software company and a global leader in natural input technologies, announces the release of the Pool and Spa Services mobile form bundle available for in app purchase with naturalForms Professional (Pro), the latest addition to its suite of groundbreaking data capture solutions. Pool and spa company owners and field staff can use the mobile forms application to capture data in the field using iPad®, accelerating business processes and enhancing customer service.
ExpeData surveyed over 2000 pool and spa companies nationally and found that the majority (82%) wanted to make the transition from paper to electronic forms. Respondents cited instant capture of customer signatures, elimination of data entry errors, improved customer service, and reductions in expenses such as print and fuel costs as the top benefits of a mobile data capture solution. Ease of use was found to be the most important factor in the selection of a mobile solution.
Working with a focus group of survey participants, ExpeData customized a form bundle specifically to meet the needs of small pool and spa services company owners. Forms include a lead sheet for field sales as well as pool and spa inspection sheets, pool installation contract, liner replacement contract, pool painting agreement and a sales and services work order.
naturalForms Pro allows pool and spa companies to leverage industry-specific mobile forms to capture data using natural input methods such as handwriting, voice, photos, drawings, notes, electronic signatures, and GPS coordinates. The application uses smart form features such as calculations to eliminate common errors that lead to delays or billing questions. Customer signatures can be captured electronically at the time of service, further expediting production and invoicing processes. Data collected is immediately available to print, email to customers and the home office, or share via DropBox.
Southwest Ohio-based Heatwave Pools was one of the companies that participated in the naturalForms survey. Owned by Paul and Cherie Schear, Heatwave Pools is a full service pool company and prides itself on providing exceptional customer service. As an early adopter of iPad technology in their business, Heatwave Pools was interested in using the devices to eliminate paperwork from their workflows. The ability to capture customer signatures on the job site was also a benefit that impressed Heatwave owners.
“naturalForms Pro will allow us to quickly capture information, prepare quotes onsite and immediately send to our office for further processing, eliminating delays and data entry,” said Paul Schear, President, Heatwave Pools. “The ability to also attach photos and notes to contracts and obtain customer signatures electronically will accelerate sales and job execution and enhance the customer experience with our technicians.”
“Innovative businesses such as Heatwave Pools are embracing tablet-based form applications to eliminate paperwork from their processes,” said Sue Zanders, Sales Executive, ExpeData. “We are excited to be able to offer this cost effective, user friendly tool to assist small businesses in modernizing the way they collect and process information in the field.”
