“It is important not to let advertising overtake someone’s enjoyment of the internet." -- Gal Davidi

Last night, Google removed several apps from Google Play, its online Android shop, according to PCWorld.com. All adblocking apps sold by third parties have been removed from their store due to conflicts of agreement with internet marketing companies.
Adblocking programs such as Ad Blocker, AdBlock Plus, AdAway and Adfree were all removed from Google Play, but are still available through each company’s individual websites. These programs all prevent sponsors and pop up ads from internet marketing companies that sponsor many Google owned sites.
This policy has long been used by Apple for iPhone related technology. Now Google has adopted this practice stating that the adblocking programs violate the Developer Distribution Agreement. Section 4.4 reads, “You agree that you will not engage in any activity with the Market, including the development or distribution of Products, that interferes with, disrupts, damages, or accesses in an unauthorised manner the devices, servers, networks, or other properties or services of any third party including, but not limited to, Android users, Google or any mobile network operator. You may not use customer information obtained from the Market to sell or distribute Products outside of the Market."
The trend to prevent adblocking technology has increased in recent years. Statistics say that downloads of adblocking programs have more than quadrupled since 2009. Allowing the usage of these programs damages Google and Apple by preventing their sponsors from being seen.
It is no secret that internet marketing is on the forefront of today’s advertising methods. The ability to contain unlimited content with unlimited reach makes it a powerful marketing tool. The only downside of that is that there is so much information available, that it can sometimes be difficult to get your material to the desired audience.
That is what internet marketing companies like GAL Inc are there for. Their expert copywriters know all of the techniques and tricks of word placement to help Google index businesses correctly, thusly getting their information to the right market. Their expertise in online market research put them in the forefront of social media marketers. They help to raise awareness of their clients’ businesses while also building a web community.
“It is important not to let advertising overtake someone’s enjoyment of the internet,” says company owner Gal Davidi. “Even though we want to increase sales, it is important for a company to have ethics. You can’t be ignorant to the environment that you are working in if you are looking for longevity.”
Where other companies may oversaturate or use inaccurate key words or phrases, GAL Inc understands the right balance and words to help direct Google searchers to what they are looking for.
