HealthCrave proudly announces the addition of Board Certified Dermatologist Chad Hivnor, M.D., to its team of esteemed and carefully chosen physicians. Already recognized for its Primary Care Center, Nutrition and Weight-‐loss Program, and Orthopeadic Rehabilitation program, HealthCrave will now be acknowledged for its Aesthetics, Skin & Vascular Center as well. The addition of Dr. Chad Hivnor is opening doors for HealthCrave as patients seeking help for skin cancer, scars, cosmetic issues, and a number of other skin-‐related complications and concerns choose HealthCrave as their provider.

Dr. Chad Hivnor is a Board Certified Dermatologist with pervasive training in laser medicine and surgery. Having graduated from the United States Air Force Academy with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Biochemistry, Dr. Hivnor has treated a number of wounded soldiers and thereby has extensive knowledge in the treatment of scars and burns. After receiving his Medical Degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center, he went on to complete his residency in Dermatology at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Hivnor relocated back to Texas to offer his services to those at Lackland Airforce Base.

Chad Hivnor, M.D., is one of the top laser experts in the country. He was given a $1.1 million grant to collaborate with Harvard University and execute efficient studies on laser effects on scars. His noted expertise makes him an invaluable member of the staff at HealthCrave. Room for an entirely new type of clientele has been made at HealthCrave now that Dr. Hivnor is on board to offer services ranging from laser hair removal, acne care, Botox, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, as well as more pressing services such as skin cancer, psoriasis, and benign or malignant skin lesions that can often require surgery.

On joining the team at HealthCrave, Dr. Hivnor says, “My goal is to sincerely take care of all aspects of the person's skin and aesthetic appearance from acne, rashes, and lasers for fine lines and wrinkles. The idea of HealthCrave and taking care of the entire family and the entire person, body and mind, is why we all go to medical school. Managed care and insurance companies have taken some of that away. The HealthCrave concept is a way to bring that back. I am ecstatic to join the ranks of those who care for the entire person, but especially the skin. There is so much that the skin can tell you about the person.”

Dr. Chad Hivnor’s enthusiasm to be a part of HealthCrave affirms his willingness to go the extra mile for each and every patient. Anyone who walks into the Aesthetics, Skin & Vascular Center can be confident that they’re receiving optimum care, not only because of Dr. Hivnor’s exceptional qualifications, but also because of his devotion to dermatology and people in general.
