I would love everyone to have the opportunity to succeed in their new environment, no matter where you come from, what your social status is or what language you originally speak

Aurora, Colorado (PRWEB) March 26, 2013

After having fled Managua, learning English and assimilating to a new culture presented a major challenge to former Nicaraguan refugee Kendal Knetemann. It took her quite some time to get it right. This experience inspired her to develop LingoHut.com, a free website specialized to help others faced with learning a new language.

Knetemann understands like no other that a refugee’s tumultuous journey does not end after arriving at the destination; it merely continues with other types of challenges. Learning the language of the new country of residence is necessary in adapting to the new environment, culture, and way of life. In today’s global economy, proper communication gives one an incredible advantage in finding work and in integrating into new surroundings.

“I would love everyone to have the opportunity to succeed in their new environment, no matter where you come from, what your social status is or what language you originally speak” states Knetemann. “Lingohut.com is free to everyone. It is interesting to see where people visit us from and what language they are learning. On any day, Serbians and Albanians are learning Italian and German; Dutch enjoy learning French; Vietnamese study Chinese and endless other combinations.”

The LingoHut.com website is presented in 52 languages and teaches a variety of languages such as, English, French, Dutch, German, Italian, Chinese, Portuguese and Spanish. The website launched Oct 2012.
