MexPro.com, the leading provider of Mexico Auto Insurance for Americans and Canadians who drive to Mexico, has recently updated its website to include the 2012 Tourist Auto Insurer results. The results were recently released by the Mexico Insurance Association, http://www.amis.com.mx.

According to Derek Kartchner, Chief Revenue Officer for MexPro.com's parent company International Insurance Group, Inc. "It was very encouraging to see that for the first time since 2007, premiums have grown. Not only did we see nice growth last year, in the first quarter of 2013, we have seen about a 20% increase in customers from the same period last year. Mexico Tourist Auto Insurers have endured a perfect storm in the past few years, with the economy, changes to passport laws, and cartel violence all impacting automobile traffic to Mexico. In fact, the market shrank by almost half from 2007 to 2011. It's very nice to be growing again, and we expect that by next year the market will in fact have recovered to 2007 levels".

The list of insurers, along with their ratings, can be found at http://www.mexpro.com/mexico/ranking.html.

Kartchner cautions both agents and consumers in the USA and Canada to be wary of Mexico insurers who do not carry at least an A- rating. "Most consumers would never buy insurance in the USA or Canada from unrated or less than A- rated insurers, so why in the world would they do so in Mexico?"

Mexpro.com offers consumers the opportunity to quote and print A-rated insurance in minutes online. Insurance Distributors can also sell MexPro products, and earn generous commissions, by contracting via http://www.mexicoinsuranceonline.com.
