Seniors Guide’s Seniors Got Talent Third Place’s, “Tony Stumpo, Magnolia Glen Senior Plays Piano”, was submitted by Kisco Senior Living Community Magnolia Glen. Located in Raleigh, North Carolina, Magnolia Glen offers Independent Living and Assisted Living. Resident Tony Stumpo is featured in the winning entry improvising on the classic Judy Garland song, “Somewhere Over The Rainbow”.
Harbour Assisted Living in Noblesville, Indiana won second place recognition for their video featuring senior residents playing kazoos to the tune, “Ain’t She Sweet”.
Made famous by The Beatles and written by Gene Austin in 1927, the "Seniors Got Talent" video got a viral lift through newsletter and local promotion throughout the community. Harbour Assisted Living’s sister community, The Lodge, won recognition in the previous year’s "Seniors Got Talent" with their video, “Funny Senior Citizen tells a joke in Noblesville, Indiana”.
The first place, grand prize, video was submitted by Pinebrook Retirement Living in Milford, Ohio. A self-produced video filmed by the staff showcases the various talents of different residents who live in Pinebrook. Woodworking, Painting, Arts and Crafits, and Quilt Making are just some of the various talents the community showcases.
