On March 28, Yumi Media, a food website devoted to delivering the latest and greatest in food news, recipes, and products to incorporate into your own healthy lifestyle, says to follow One Direction’s commitment to eating healthy when facing discouragement.
According to Hello! Daily News, One Direction “will be ditching fast food for fruits and vegetables.” Chef Sarah Nicholas of Sarah's Kitchen has been hired to “make sure that the boys, Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson, eat healthily.”
Hello! Daily News reports that this isn't the first time that the boys have been put on a special diet. In August 2012 they were reportedly under strict orders to eat more vegetables after their heavy stage make-up caused them to break out in spots. They were given three vegetable drinks a day to help clear up their skin.
“Vegetarians often think that they are alone when having to commit to a healthier lifestyle,” says Justin Maas, Yumi Media representative. “Although One Direction hasn’t come out to say that they are vegetarian, eating healthy is still a positive step forward.”
Maas adds that celebrity diets are usually modeled after by the general public. “One Direction should check out Quorn if they want to try something really healthy and awesome tasting, especially for people trying to transition out of a meat-eating lifestyle. I think teens should check out One Direction and model themselves after their new diet. Be cool. Follow One Direction.”
