The color palette we chose is a slightly brightened up approach to traditional pastels, representing spring in all its glory, said Matthew Goodman, Art Director of Center Stage Productions.

Easter is just a few days away, which means we’ll see that famous fluffy bunny, pastel colors and lots of fancifully decorated eggs. Center Stage Productions, a leading provider of custom designed commercial Easter décor, has been inspired by the holiday and has created imaginative décor for shopping centers that defines the look of the season.
Many malls kickoff the spring shopping season with Easter. According to the National Retail Federation’s annual holiday spending forecast, total Easter spending this year is expected to reach an estimated $17.2 billion, up from last year’s forecast of $16.8 billion. Nearly half of consumers will purchase new apparel. Given this opportunity for sales, many shopping malls embrace the occasion and dedicate a whimsically decorated spot for photos with the Easter Bunny.
Taking a photo with the Easter Bunny is a tradition that is important to many families, and Center Stage Productions creates the settings in which these memorable photos are taken. This year, kids will not have to hunt for long to find the “eggstra” large, hand-painted Easter eggs that are displayed within the photo set created by Center Stage Productions.
Themed as an Easter egg garden, the display has many playfully arranged eggs that decorate the perimeter and backdrop of the set. Additionally, sphere shaped topiary trees adorned with dozens of pastel colored eggs trim both sides of the bunny’s bench.
“Whether you’re 5 years old and enjoy the thrill of a good egg hunt or an adult who enjoys the creative art of decorating eggs, our Easter décor is presented in a way that everyone can enjoy,” said Michael DeZaio, President of Center Stage Productions.
The range of fresh spring hues used in the display and the clean and simple styling help to welcome the new season. “The color palette we chose is a slightly brightened up approach to traditional pastels, representing spring in all its glory,” said Matthew Goodman, Art Director of Center Stage Productions.
From conception to completion, the entire process of designing and fabricating the Easter décor for malls was a three-month long project that took place at Center Stage Productions’ 50,000 square foot production facility in NJ.
