AMG Teleran Corporation announced today that they have teamed with ZipBridge to add an instant conferencing module to their easy-to-use mass notification and employee notification system, AMG Alerts. AMG Alerts is used by companies, government agencies, and schools throughout the U.S.

Dave Burr, AMG Teleran COO, explained “The simplicity of our AMG Alerts system is greatly appreciated by our customers and our philosophy has been to keep it simple and allow the system to grow along with our customers by adding plug-in modules, such as the Response Module and this new Conferencing Module. The modular approach really keeps us price-competitive and allows the customer to tailor the system to their needs.”

The conferencing module allows a conference call to be initiated with a few clicks of a mouse. The system not only calls the proposed attendees, but solicits them through text and email to get on the call and provides login credentials so they can call in themselves if they aren’t near their normal phone(s).

This new feature, along with other modules and features that can be turned on and off, makes AMG Alerts unique in that it can be a simple notification tool or a complete business continuity/ incident management system. “It makes perfect sense for our customers to be able to leverage contact information that is already in our system rather than having a separate conferencing supplier and having to manage a communications process outside of our system in a crisis management situation.” says Burr.
