“I don't shy away from the fact that I was bullied,” says Aaron. “Thankfully, I made the decision to change the direction of my life. It brought forward a positive outlook.”
Tampa, FL (PRWEB) March 31, 2013
Quinton Aaron, the actor best known for his portrayal of Michael Oher in the Sandra Bullock blockbuster, “The Blind Side,” is using his star-power to fuel a 45-day Anti-Bullying Tour featuring leadership breakfasts, town hall meetings, autograph-signing sessions at several Quaker Steak & Lube locations, bowling events and raffle ticket sales to fund anti-bullying programs, where one winner will take home their choice of a Honda Fury motorcycle or $10,000. Aaron and his foundation will be bringing an anti-bullying message to over 112,000 students, their families, schools and communities; for the complete tour schedule, go to http://www.quintonaaron.org.

“The online donations and raffle ticket sales are going to fund anti-bullying programs long after this tour is over,” said Quinton Aaron. “We hope that you find it in your heart to help us stop bullies now, with your donations.”
An underdog himself, Quinton's story is well-known. “I don't shy away from the fact that I was bullied,” says Aaron. “Thankfully, I made the decision to change the direction of my life. It brought forward a positive outlook.” He now dedicates himself to finding meaningful solutions and helping children who find themselves victims of bullying.
Determined to engage with communities, Aaron plans on building long-term relationships through his recently-formed foundation. “I want to educate young children and teenagers by calling attention to bullying. When kids are involved in bullying, they often play more than one role. It is important to understand the multiple roles kids play in order to effectively prevent and respond to bullying," Aaron said. Quinton's approach in dealing with the issue has already proven tremendously successful, and he looks forward to touching the lives and teaching as many people as possible along the way.
