Las Vegas, Nevada (PRWEB) March 31, 2013
Media partners What’s On, The Las Vegas Guide and Highway Radio are proud to present their latest joint digital venture in the newly launched Vegas Xcess app. Available free for immediate download in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, Vegas Xcess seeks to deliver the Las Vegas you’ve only seen on TV: from thousand-dollar VIP nightclub booths to burgers bigger than your head.
“What started as an informational tool that has evolved into an app that not only allows users to find their way in Las Vegas, but see it in a whole new light,” Jim McGlasson, president and publisher of What’s On, The Las Vegas Guide explains.
Vegas Xcess is a tour guide through Sin City’s excess. Features include a customizable postcard that allows users to take photos of themselves exploring the excessive side of Las Vegas and share their adventures via email, Facebook and Twitter. Users can also reference full hotel-casino listings, take advantage of deals and coupons and search ways to unwind in Vegas, including what shows to see as well as where to eat, shop, party and play. The app also takes advantage of full map and route functions so that once a user pinpoints their brand of “Xcess,” navigating their way to it is as easy as tapping a button.
“Vegas Xcess is the first mobile application that provides information regarding the most exciting aspects of Las Vegas,” says Highway Radio COO Kirk Anderson. “Free to everyone, Vegas Xcess is a tool to help plan the most exciting, innovative and adventurous vacation in the world.”
