Scottsdale, AZ (PRWEB) April 02, 2013

Cyber security has emerged as one of the most important issues facing governments, businesses and individuals. Leaders in the United States and around the world are struggling to come to terms with how to protect the economic vitality and territorial integrity of their domains while maintaining free and open societies. A wide range of issues from personal privacy, espionage, cyber warfare, regulation and actions by highly motivated non-government organizations are driving leaders to make important decisions that will have an impact for generations.

Lumension®, a global leader in endpoint management and security, will host the first in a series of video chats on the modern IT Security landscape. The distinguished panel will discuss legislation, the impact of U.S. IP theft on our economy, how other regions are dealing with cyber security threats, and how to avoid the “doomsday” scenario so frequently touted by the press.

The discussion will be led by Pat Clawson, chairman and CEO, Lumension; Richard M. George, senior advisor for cyber security, Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory; and Peter Robinson, CEO, U.S. Council of International Business. Richard Stiennon, security industry expert and founder and analyst, IT Harvest will moderate the discussion.
