Avid 1960's poster collector Andrew Hawley, from Vintage Rock Posters, announces his search for vintage 1969 to 1972 Led Zeppelin Seattle Coliseum Concert Posters. Led Zeppelin first came to Seattle in 1969. The band returned often to Seattle up to 1972. According to Hawley, “The first concert was at the Green Lake Agua Theater on May 11, 1969. This venue was an outdoor aquatic park with high dives and pools for pool follies and dance shows. Needless, to these rockers from England must have shook the place down to its foundation. Led Zeppelin also played at the Seattle Pop Festival with Chuck Berry and The Doors. When they returned to Seattle in 1970, Led Zeppelin was a household name playing to sold out venues across the world.”
Hawley continues, “Led Zeppelin played at the Seattle Coliseum twice. The 1970 Zeppelin poster features the traditional union jack flag expressing their English roots, while the 1972 poster offers the boxing style look featuring large portrait shots of the band on a thicker paper stock.”
Hawley will pay $3,000 cash for either Zeppelin Seattle Coliseum poster or another other vintage Led Zeppelin concert poster between 1969 to 1972. Any condition would be accepted. Please call 310-346-1965 or email Andrew at vintageconcertposterbuyer.com.
