My Positive Perspective was created to help people pull themselves out of difficult situations
Charleston, SC (PRWEB) April 02, 2013
On April 1, 2013, My Positive Perspective marked a significant feat in broadcasting its one hundredth episode. The achievement was mentioned in the most recent episode with host Jason Deierlein and musician Ben Fagan. During the episode, Deierlein asked Fagan what his favorite episode was where he was featured. Fagan replied, “The episodes are sort of like your children, you are proud of them all, but I would have to say the episode I made with Adam Seigler was my favorite because we talked about creating the music and then had an opportunity to do a little free style jam.”
My Positive Perspective has also had tremendous episodes that were made for a purpose. During this episode, host Jason Deierlein said, “My Positive Perspective was created to help people who are in difficult situations and assist them in hopefully one day coming out of that difficulty.” A shining example of that purpose being utilized was with the episodes made for car accident victim Nick Collins. Deierlein commented on Collins’ successful story, “The struggle of having to be in a hospital for so long and having to do months of painful therapy, but then you get to go outside again and you know you have deserved everything around you. I have not let go of that feeling and I have no intentions to.” Fagan also got a chance to comment on the success saying, “It is uplifting seeing Nick stepping up and recover from his car accident. It shows the power of positivity in people.”
My Positive Perspective is a media outlet believing that improvement in our community will be best achieved by focusing on the good things happening in our world today. Having survived a near fatal car accident as a youth, a shift of perception forced Jason to have a mentality of always concentrating on the brighter side of things. This was true, and in my book, Return From a Comatose Mind, this belief was put to the test. Appreciation for life was the biggest thing one took away from my brush with death, and it is because of that that I have such a huge desire to be helpful to many. My Positive Perspective is a way of overcoming challenges.
