Strengthening its position as a leader in the treatment of Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), Clearview Treatment Programs Women’s Center for Borderline Personality Disorder in Los Angeles is sponsoring three upcoming BPD events on the East Coast.
“There has been a significant increase in the number of national events focused on the treatment of Borderline Personality Disorder, including early intervention,” said Michael Roy, MSW, LCSW, founder and executive director of Clearview Treatment Programs and Clearview Women’s Center for Borderline Personality and Emotional Disorders. “Clearview aims to support these events, when possible, in order to help decrease the stigma associated with BPD and to further research and treatment for the disorder.”

NASSPD Annual Conference
The North American Society for the Study of Personality Disorders (NASSPD) will hold its first annual conference April 20 to 21, 2013, in Boston. The conference will bring together personality disorder experts from around the globe to discuss topics related to personality disorder research and treatment. Linehan Institute Spring Luncheon
On May 3, 2013, mental health professionals will gather at the Linehan Institute Spring Luncheon in New York to celebrate and honor the work of Marsha Linehan, Ph.D. Dr. Linehan developed Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), a highly effective, evidence-based treatment for Borderline Personality Disorder. Annual Yale NEA.BPD Conference
Yale School of Medicine’s Department of Psychiatry and the National Education Alliance for Borderline Personality Disorder (NEA.BPD) hold an annual conference on Borderline Personality Disorder. This year’s conference in New Haven, Conn., on May 10, 2013, is the 9th, and will provide attendees expert advice on how to manage the cognitive challenges related to Borderline Personality Disorder.
