Finally an online publication has arrived that acknowledges that women who are 50 and over are still sexy. With so many publications geared toward the younger market, Sensationally Sexy and Over 50 is a refreshing approach to the fact that women can still be and feel sexy as they get older. Leisa Coffman, Founder and Editor in Chief says, "In a world that is obsessed with looking and feeling younger the fact still remains that everyone ages. But with aging also comes exciting new levels of sensuality and sexuality. Women who age gracefully accept this life change – they don’t hide it or ignore it. They embrace it. How do you grow old gracefully? Be proud of it! Maintain your elegance, your style, and your sensuality. Wear clothing that accentuates your body, makeup that is natural and highlights your best features, exercise, and do what it takes to feel young. You’re only as young as you feel.” Leisa adds, “And we all know there's nothing sexier than a woman who is confident about who she is and what she wants. That's what Sensationally Sexy Over 50 is all about." The new publication launches on April 2, 2013.
The magazine will do celebrity and the girl-next-door interviews from people of all ages. They'll also cover stories on Balance, Beauty, Fashion, Music, Film and more. The magazine is taking a new fresh approach to the mid life audience. Coffman says, "I myself am turning 50 in April, and I began noticing that most publications primarily lean toward the younger audience. It's not like 50 and over doesn't want to see any of that, but it only seems right that there be a fair mix and that just isn't happening. So this is why I was inspired to launch this publication. I wanted a magazine that spoke to me."
Coffman believes the younger audience will enjoy this publication as well, "Because the feel of our publication is still fresh and young, the younger audience will still be drawn to the publication. “ She adds, "So many 50 and over publications are not exciting enough making the audience they are speaking to feel disassociated."
Sensationally Sexy & Over 50 has a lot to offer people of all ages. It gives the younger audience something to look forward to – even to aspire to be. Leisa concludes, “We don't discriminate, we want everyone to read our publication but make no mistake, we are aiming for the Sensationally Sexy & Over 50 audience because it's time someone does!"
