SparkBase, Inc. (http://www.sparkbase.com) a leading gift card and loyalty software company has integrated with Apple’s Passbook to allow users of its loyalty rewards program, Paycloud, to load loyalty cards for their favorite businesses on Passbook.
Paycloud is SparkBase’s loyalty software created specifically for small businesses and their customers. Hundreds of small businesses across the United States use Paycloud to power their loyalty rewards and gift card programs and thousands of consumers use Paycloud to earn and redeem rewards at local businesses.
Customers can currently enroll in a loyalty program on the Paycloud network through a plastic loyalty card or the Paycloud mobile app. Through Paycloud’s integration with Passbook, each time a customer enrolls in a loyalty program, they will receive an email welcoming them to the program and providing the Passbook for that business. The customer simply taps the Passbook to add it to their iPhone device and may then use Passbook, their plastic loyalty card or the Paycloud mobile app to earn and redeem rewards at check out.
In store, customers simply hold their Passbook up to the Paycloud tablet to scan their loyalty card and receive credit for their purchases.
Small businesses using Paycloud will benefit from the Passbook integration as it will make it even easier for customers to find and use their loyalty card on their mobile device. Additionally, Passbook’s geo-fencing feature, which opens a business’ Passbook when a customer is within 500 feet of the store, reminds the customer to shop when near a Paycloud location.
Paycloud joins the ranks of Ticketmaster, Starbucks and Sephora, companies also integrated with Passbook.
“We are excited to be joining the ranks of companies using Passbook and to help our businesses more easily reach their loyal customers,” said Doug Hardman, CEO of SparkBase. “This integration couldn’t have come at a more perfect time. We are rapidly expanding our network of Paycloud businesses and users, and our integration with Passbook makes it even easier for customers and businesses to benefit from a loyalty program."
Paycloud users enrolled in a business’ loyalty program prior to the Passbook launch can download Passbooks for the businesses where they are currently enrolled by signing into their online Paycloud account on paycloud.com.
