Fairfield, CA (PRWEB) April 03, 2013
Brandman University invites educators and teachers looking for new positions to the Fairfield campus for a 2nd special career fair on Saturday, April 13 from 8:30AM to 12:30PM. Confirmed attending districts include Napa Valley, Vacaville, and Benicia Unified and Spectrum (non-public, special education) Schools. All have immediate openings and will be on hand to review resumes and conduct on-the-spot interviews. Positions being filled include K-12 single and multiple subjects, and special education.
“If you are a teacher looking for a great position in the area, you don’t want to miss this event. The first event in March was a success and districts wanted to hold another one,” said event organizer Susan Schnars, Manager of Community Relations at Brandman. “As part of our mission as a non-profit university, we have teamed up again with school districts to provide this opportunity for educators who are looking for a new job, and there are a number of open positions that they need to fill.”
Schnars encourages job seekers to wear professional attire, bring copies of resume/credentials, internship eligibility (or proof of completion by Fall 2013), and come prepared to be interviewed. The event is free and no RSVP is required, but attendees are encouraged to fill out an online application with the hiring districts in advance at http://www.EdJoin.org.
