The International Youth Conditioning Association, an educational resource for fitness professionals in the youth fitness industry, launched the Big Book of Programs, its latest product, earlier this week. The product is currently on sale for $50 off the retail price through this Friday at Midnight EST.

Designed to help youth fitness specialists enhance their training skills by having access to the programs used by experts, the Big Book of Programs is a compilation of training programs from top trainers currently working in the youth athletic development field.

“Nearly every trainer I have ever met who wanted to work with the IYCA was incredibly passionate about what they do and eager to get even better at training,” says IYCA CEO Pat Rigsby. “This new book is intended for people like that, who want to take their youth programming to greater heights.”

“When we decided to make the Big Book of Programs, we focused on getting safe youth athletic development programs from experts with years of expertise and education,” Rigsby notes.

The book, just the latest offering from a company quickly establishing itself as one of the leading educational institutions in the field of youth fitness and sports performance training, features a wide ranging series of programs designed by frequent IYCA collaborators.

The large majority of programs featured in the book are geared toward general young athlete development, but some target training for specific sports.

“The Big Book of Programs has something for everyone, essentially,” claims IYCA President Nick Berry. “There are programs targeting injury prevention, getting better for certain sports, agility, speed – you name it.”

The Big Book of Programs contains youth fitness programs designed by over 50 of the nation’s leading youth fitness and athlete development coaches and trainers.

“Each contributor has done an amazing job of distilling the essence of their youth fitness and athlete development practices into their unique programs,” Berry notes.

Among the contributions to the book are a section on strength and conditioning for high school wrestlers from Shawn Fears, a 6 week soccer program for athletes 14 and up from Dave Gleason, and a gymnastics program from Kristy Lee Wilson.

“We have never put together a book quite like this,” Rigsby proclaims. “I think this is one of the most in depth looks at what the top trainers are doing that has ever been assembled.”

The Big Book of Programs was launched earlier this week. It is currently on sale for $50 off the normal retail price. The sale ends this Friday night at Midnight EST.
