Maas adds that adults actually text while driving more than teens. “Researchers found that about 50 percent of adults admit to texting while driving, compared to only 43 percent for teens,” Maas adds. “Adults also have to be aware of the dangers of texting while driving – not only from young people, but their very own peers.”
“There is a time and place for everything, but engaging in social media or texting while driving is not one of them,” says Maas.
