Fitness business coaching company the Fitness Consulting Group will be hosting an Elite Training Workshop in two weeks in the Boston area. Registration for the event is still open.

The Fitness Consulting Group will assemble 7 of the fitness industry’s top trainers at Cressey Performance in Hudson, MA on April 21st. The renowned experts plan on assisting fitness business owners enhance their craft and strengthen their businesses.

“The Elite Training Workshop that’s taking place in two weeks will have some of the country’s most respected leaders in the fitness community all working toward the goal of helping personal trainers build their skill sets and reach a broader audience,” says Fitness Consulting Group CEO Pat Rigsby.

Rigsby, himself no stranger to running a successful fitness business, established the Fitness Consulting Group in the mid-2000s with business partner and company President Nick Berry.

The duo founded the organization to promote positive practices in the fitness industry and to help personal trainers improve their training skills while reaching a bigger market.

The Elite Training Workshop on April 21st will feature industry experts, including resistance band training guru Dave “The Band Man” Schmitz.

In addition to Schmitz’s presentation to the fitness entrepreneurs in attendance on the value of running a specialized niche fitness business, the event will feature advice from Tony Gentilcore on how to design training programs around client injuries,” Rigsby adds.

Joining them will be Mike Reinold, a leading expert in the fields of rehabilitation, fitness, and performance enhancement. Reinold’s work has been featured in ESPN, Sports Illustrated, and other outlets.

Eric Cressey, the owner of the facility where the event will be held, will also be there to teach fitness business owners about optimal upper and lower body functioning.

Rounding out the lineup for the event will be IFAST’s Mike Robertson and Steve Long and Jared Woolever of Smart Group Training, the company which helps personal trainers businesses through improving training techniques in a group context.

The Elite Training Workshop will take place in two weeks in Hudson, Massachusetts. It will be held at Cressey Performance on April 21st.
