Newport News, VA (PRWEB) April 09, 2013
Revolution Fitness Club wants you to join its team for Pushups for Charity 2013—an annual fitness competition hosted by Net Profit Explosion, LLC. Pushups for Charity is a 90 second push up challenge to be held on May 18, 2013. Monies raised through Pushups for Charity will go straight to our military personnel – past and present – who were either physically or emotionally wounded in service.
"Revolution Fitness Club is passionate about two things: Helping Hampton Roads get fit through personal training and supporting veteran causes. Pushups For Charity combines both of those passions into one, by using fitness to raise money and awareness for our veterans and their families through supporting The Boot Campaign."
For the second year in a row Pushups for Charity will benefit the Boot Campaign, a national 501c3 non-profit that is dedicated to showing tangible appreciation of our military, raising awareness of the challenges they face upon return and supporting their transition home.
In 2012, Pushups for Charity raised $300,000 for the Boot Campaign. This year, the goal for Pushups for Charity is to raise $1 million to fund the Boot Campaign’s five (5) military assistance programs—Jobs, Housing, Wellness, Family Support and Urgent Assistance.
