Toronto, ON (PRWEB) April 09, 2013
The Human Resources Professionals Association (HRPA), Canada’s largest human resources association, is expanding their mobile presence with the launch of My HRPA, a cross-platform mobile app developed by Panvista, a leading provider of mobile application software for businesses.
Mobile applications are quickly becoming a standard for large associations as they look for ways to measurably engage with their members. With HRPA having over 19,000 members in 28 chapters, My HRPA will offer a new service called HR Hotline which will give members instant access to experienced Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) volunteers. My HRPA will also inform members of upcoming educational programs, member savings and other current promotions, and link to the latest HRPA social media posts.
“HRPA understood the value of offering members quick access to an experienced CHRP for information and advice. By launching their mobile app at the same time as their new HR Hotline, they’re really establishing a mobile presence that demonstrates their commitment to their membership”, notes John Robinson, Chief Strategy Officer at Panvista.
Chris Larsen, the Vice President of Marketing and Membership at HRPA, agrees with Robinson, “We had been looking at mobile for some time but did not think we could launch an app this quickly and cost effectively. With changing member demographics, having a mobile presence is increasingly important and makes services like HR Hotline even more valuable to the professional community because they can be accessed anywhere from a BlackBerry, Android or iPhone smartphone.”
HRPA’s app offers mobile access to HRPA thought leadership, continually updating content through their blog, and an easy one-tap connection to their HR hotline in an application that is fully compliant with the association’s brand standards.
