Intrinsic Imaging, an FDA audited, ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certified imaging core lab specializing in providing imaging core lab services for clinical trials, announces today that it has appointed Dr. Reta Rupich as its Vice President of Medical Imaging Operations.

Dr. Rupich brings to Intrinsic Imaging 20 years of operational experience in managing imaging operations for Phase I-IV clinical trials. Throughout her extensive career, Dr. Rupich has participated in hundreds of clinical trials involving medical imaging and she has an in-depth expertise in optimizing medical imaging operations to ensure sound project management, optimal quality assurance, and on time delivery.

Prior to joining Intrinsic Imaging, Dr. Rupich provided imaging quality assurance consulting services for pharmaceutical and imaging CRO companies. Previously she was Vice President at M2S, a full service imaging core lab and she served as President and Chief Operating Officer of DXA Resource Group, Inc, a specialized imaging CRO that she co-founded in 2002.

Dr. Rupich has also held positions as the Director of Client Services and Operations for the Boston office of Synarc, Inc., a global imaging CRO and she is also the prior Director of the Medical Data Management division of Hologic Inc., one of the industry’s major dual-energy x-ray absorptiometry (DEXA) equipment manufacturers.

Dr. Rupich began her career as a Clinical Scientist at Procter and Gamble Pharmaceuticals and managed the DEXA portion of their pivotal Phase III Risedronate clinical trials for the treatment and prevention of osteoporosis. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology & Criminal Justice, a Master’s degree in Psychology and a Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology and completed her Postdoctoral Research in Bone Metabolism at Washington University Medical Center.
