Youth fitness and athletic development company the International Youth Conditioning Association is hosting its annual East Coast Summit in Canton, Connecticut. Registration for the event, which will take place June 28th and 29th, is currently open.
The IYCA East Coast Summit brings together nine of the most widely recognized trainers in the fitness industry to help other personal trainers improve their skills and strengthen their businesses.
Held at Tyler English Fitness in Canton, Connecticut, the IYCA East Coast Summit will feature presentations and hands on coaching sessions from the nine presenters. Attendees who register for the event before May 13th will receive a $50 discount off the normal registration price.
“You will get to work hands on with these extraordinary coaches in a real gym – the perfect environment to become better at what you want to do as a youth sports training professional,” says IYCA President Nick Berry.
The presenters appearing at the event have all attained a significant amount of acclaim in the youth fitness and sports performance field. Their accomplishments and success are one of the driving forces behind the event.
“At other events, you don’t get personal access to the presenters, let alone to top professionals who specifically work with young athletes,” Berry says. “But the IYCA East Coast Conference is different.”
The world renowned youth fitness trainers and coaches who will speak at the International Youth Conditioning Association East Coast Summit plan on covering a wide range of topics relevant to the issues faced by young, developing athletes.
Among the many topics to be covered at the event include the psychology of game play, training with resistance bands, common programming mistakes for young athletes, and how to conduct effective assessments.
The full list of presenters includes Latif Thomas, Dave Schmitz, Melissa Lambert, Pat Rigsby, Ryan Ketchum, Tony Gentilcore, Dr. Evan Oscar, C.J. Easter, Ben Bruno, Mike Reinold, Vince Gabriele, and Ryan McKie.
While the majority of the presenters will be teaching the youth fitness specialists in attendance about training techniques and strategies, Pat Rigsby and Ryan Ketchum’s presentations will be geared toward the business end of owning a youth training business.
“I’m excited to get up on stage alongside these other fantastic trainers and coaches to share my insights about how to run a successful youth training business,” Rigsby explains. “This event is going to be fantastic.”
The IYCA East Coast Summit will take place on Friday, June 28th and Saturday, June 29th at Tyler English Fitness in Canton, Connecticut. Registration for the event is now open.
