The Central New York-based organization will show the documentary, which tracks National Geographic photographer James Balog's quest to document Earth's changing climate as told through majestic glaciers, on Earth Day, Monday, April 22, at 7 p.m. at The Palace Theatre, 2384 James St., Syracuse, New York.
“There’s a powerful piece of history that’s unfolding in these pictures, and I have to go back,” said filmmaker Balog of his plan for the documentary, which has won 23 awards, including Best Documentary by the Environmental Media Association.
