Palm Beach Gardens, FL (PRWEB) April 18, 2013
According to a National Geographic Infographic, April 2012, Americans took 177 digital photos per person in 2006, snapped 255 in 2011 and are projected to take 322 photos per person in 2015. Anyone with babies knows that much more than 50 percent of these photos feature babies and children. Six Sided Studio in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. launched a free Baby Stickers App to provide an easy way to keep those special baby photos marked, organized and easy to share.
The first helpful tool for baby photos was adhesive stickers featuring text: one month, two months etc. Remembering to take a photo each month is hard for busy parents and putting a sticker on baby can spoil the spontaneity of capturing that special moment.
Amanda Dicembrino of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., a busy mom of two young children, woke up in the middle of the night with a perfect solution; a convenient, non-intrusive and creative Baby Stickers App for Iphone. The app is free and comes with a standard set of stickers. Additional varieties of sticker sets are available via an app purchase, $2.99 for 12 digital stickers. Sets include different themes and creative colors. Sticker sets are available for 0-12 months and 12-24 months. More upgrades and additional themed sticker sets, as well as a Belly Stickers App to mark weekly milestones in a pregnancy, are currently in development.
The Baby Stickers App is designed to mark milestones during baby's first years of life. Users simply take a photo of their baby in the app or import a photo from the phone’s camera roll and select a digital sticker to mark the correct age. Stickers can be resized, rotated, and moved using multi-touch gestures to get the size and orientation just right for any particular picture. The app enables parents and friends to show how much babies change and grow. The images can be shared monthly on Facebook, Twitter and via email.
The app can also be used retroactively. Busy parents who didn’t mark their photos can still search an image, import it and match the age to the sticker in the Baby Sticker app. The app can create a separate album for each child, set birthdays, and can send a local notification to remind parents to take the milestone picture on the appropriate day.
