Mighty Mack announces the release of its newest app featuring all the stunning paintings by master artist Michelangelo Buonarroti.
Michelangelo (1475 – 1564), was an Italian Renaissance painter, sculptor, architect, poet, and engineer. His versatility in the disciplines he took up was of such a high order that he is often considered a contender for the title of the archetypal Renaissance man, along with fellow Italian Leonardo da Vinci.
Despite his low opinion of painting, Michelangelo also created two of the most influential works in fresco in the history of Western art: the scenes from Genesis on the ceiling and The Last Judgment on the altar wall of the Sistine Chapel in Rome.
The full version of Mighty Mack’s Paintings: Michelangelo App features over 111 images of the paintings from the great master Michelangelo. The user will be able to browse through all the existing paintings by Michelangelo: from the paintings of the Sistine Chapel, to The Torment of Saint Anthony, the Pauline Chapel and more.
This App is available for iPod Touch, iPhone and iPad. Optimized for iOS6, retina display and iPhone 5. It allows the users to share images via email, Twitter and Facebook, or save them to camera roll (with no watermarks). Share the artist bio via email. Select favorites. View the images one by one, or enjoy a slideshow.
Enjoy this fantastic visual gallery, share the images with friends, and learn about the artist’s life.
