LocationInsight, An Established Leader In Location Marketing Technology, Adds Scott Nelson as VP of Client Services

Accomplished entrepreneur and leader brings over 27 years of experience to top provider of enterprise local search marketing software

LocationInsight, a leading provider of location marketing technology for large advertisers, announced that Scott D. Nelson has been named Vice President of Client Services.

In this position, Mr. Nelson will lead the organization’s efforts to provide a world-class experience and grow broader relationships with both existing and new clients. In addition, he is committed to building a scalable service model to accommodate LocationInsight’s growing volume of business.

Before joining LocationInsight, Mr. Nelson held various positions for a number of startup, medium-sized and Fortune 500 companies. In 2002, he cofounded TruEffect, where he served as both COO and CPO while innovating the first-party ad technology that is now a standard in online media. During this time, he was also a champion for protecting consumer rights within the advertising industry by working with the Federal Trade Commission, legislators, regulators and experts across the world.

Prior to TruEffect, Mr. Nelson led the Enterprise Account practice at MatchLogic and was responsible for teams supporting multimillion-dollar clients, including General Motors, Nokia, Radio Shack, Infiniti, Charles Schwab and TD Waterhouse. His broad exposure to all aspects of consumer influence began in 1986 while spending 13 years with General Motors in various wholesale, marketing and advertising positions.
