SAS to Discuss M-Files Use Cases During the M-Files Solution Provider Session
On Tuesday, April 30th, M-Files president, Greg Milliken, will present a solution provider session on "Going Folderless with Metadata for a Superior Approach to ECM." The discussion will address how most ECM systems on the market today still employ a folder paradigm that is over 30 years old, and how metadata is driving the next generation of ECM systems based on the ability to organize and process information based on what it is rather than where it is stored.
SAS, a leader in business analytics software and services and the largest independent vendor in the business intelligence market, is co-presenting in the M-Files solution provider session and will highlight how the company is leveraging M-Files within its operations in the Nordic region.
"The unique metadata-powered approach of M-Files organizes and manages information based on what it is, rather than where it is stored, making it fundamentally different from traditional folder-based approaches to ECM," added Milliken. "We're excited about the opportunity to present a real-world use case that shows how SAS has leveraged this approach to more effectively manage their customer contracts and agreements with M-Files. Especially exciting is how SAS as the leader in business analytics has been able to extract tremendous value from the metadata-powered architecture of M-Files by tapping into metadata derived directly from analytics. Given the increasing strategic importance of business analytics, this 'analytics=metadata' use case opens up a huge untapped opportunity for businesses in a wide variety of industries."
