To receive an award based on how my patients view the quality of care I provide is an honor.
Beverly Hills, CA (PRWEB) April 22, 2013
Obstetrician/gynecologist and gynecological surgeon, Dr. Peyman Banooni, has been named the recipient of the Patients’ Choice Award. Given to a select number of America’s favorite doctors, Dr. Banooni was commended for his exemplary work in medicine and compassion for his patients. The Patients' Choice honor reflects the difference doctors make in the lives of their patients.
“To receive an award based on how my patients view the quality of care I provide is an honor,” Dr. Peyman Banooni said. “I strive everyday to provide my patients the best in care and service, so I am grateful that my patients recognize my efforts.”
The Patients' Choice Award is given to doctors who received rave reviews for their work and dedication in their medical field. As the honor roll of America’s favorite doctors, this honor is bestowed on doctors by their patients. In 2013 alone, more than 200,000 patients across America provided reviews and feedback regarding their personal treatment and experiences with their doctors.
Dr. Banooni scored near-perfect ratings in the categories of bedside manner, doctor-patient face time, follow-up care, office staff's courtesy, and overall patient opinion. Of the 830,000 doctors currently practicing in the U.S., just 5 percent received the Patients’ Choice Award in 2012. As part of this honor, recipients are included on http://www.patientschoice.org, a resource in which patients can locate physicians providing quality care.
“This is a rare commendation for most doctors, being that only a few of us receive this award, so I am happy to be amongst such an esteemed group of physicians,” Dr. Banooni said.
