On April 8, 2013 NetCom Learning presented “What’s New Microsoft Technologies”, an all day complimentary event on Microsoft’s newest technology launches including sessions on Windows Server 2012, System Center 2012, SharePoint 2013 and Exchange 2013. The Microsoft technology event which was held at Microsoft’s New York office drew nearly one hundred of individuals. Attendees including representatives from Allianz Global Investors, JP Morgan Chase, MetLife, Columbia University, Citigroup, United Nations Development Program (UNDP), Capital One Bank, and Morgan Stanley.
“These seminars provide a major opportunity for the business community, corporate leaders, and IT professionals to see how the new offerings from Microsoft can affect a company’s bottom line, improve customer service, drive innovation, cut costs and help grow a business,” said Russell Sarder, CEO of NetCom Learning.

“What’s New in Microsoft Technology” Events
The “What’s New in Microsoft Technologies” is a series of events highlighting Microsoft’s “era of productivity” product rollout of new and enhanced technology solutions. NetCom Learning has recently sponsored several very successful “What’s New in Technology” events in key locations on the Eastern seaboard. NetCom Learning is a Gold Certified Partner with Microsoft and a Microsoft Learning Solutions Partner of the Year.
Agenda for informational session
The agenda for the all day session included two morning session provided by Richard Oertle, IT consultant with NetCom Learning on What’s New in Windows Server 2012 and a session on System Center 2012. The morning technology sessions were followed by guest speaker, Russell Sarder, CEO of NetCom Learning, and author of several books on learning including Learning: Steps to Becoming a Passionate Lifelong Learner, and Effective Learning Methods, who presented a presentation on the importance of lifelong learning, how to create a learning plan and how to apply to one’s life.
The keynote speaker for the afternoon session was Laurie Care, Partner Technology Advisor for Microsoft who provided a demonstration of Microsoft Office 360. Laurie Care has been with Microsoft for eight years and is currently responsible for overseeing the technical relationship for high performing Microsoft partners located in the New York metropolitan area.
Following Ms. Care’s presentation, Richard Oertle offered two sessions on Microsoft applications including the new features and capabilities for SharePoint 2013, and Exchange Server 2013. NetCom Learning’s Director of Learning offered the closing presentation with an overview of the company’s suite of learning solutions including standard classes, boot camps, accelerated classes and custom training in addition to discussing NetCom’s Learning Voucher Pass, Saving Pas and Learning Pass Program.
The speaker for the technical sessions on Microsoft technologies including Microsoft Windows Server 2012, System Center 2012, SharePoint 2013, and Microsoft Exchange 2013 was Richard Oertle. Richard is a highly experienced technical trainer with more than thirty years in the field of information technology. He has been a Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) since 1995. His career as an IT consultant and trainer has included working with companies to implement new software and train employees to help companies achieve cost savings, and companywide efficiencies in technology. He has also been instrumental in developing technology courseware including working on Microsoft’s official training module for SharePoint 2010.
