BROKAW, Wisconsin (PRWEB) April 22, 2013

NIAGARA Worldwide LLC announces the successful sale of the Brokaw Development LLC facility. In early October, Brokaw Development acquired all of the Property, Plant and Assets, formerly known as the Wausau Paper Mill, in Brokaw Wisconsin. In six short months, NIAGARA Worldwide, on behalf of the property owner, has found a buyer and completed a full site and asset sale. This achieves the re-purposing in Brokaw that NIAGARA Worldwide set out to accomplish from the beginning.

“Our management team is diverse and far reaching, with the ability to find viable uses for otherwise idle facilities,” says Eric J. Spirtas, President of NIAGARA Worldwide LLC. “Whether our team determines to parcel off parts of a facility and its grounds, rebuild elements of a former factory, or completely sell off the plant and equipment to a viable user for future commerce, remains a site by site determination,” adds Spirtas. Don Jacobsmeyer, Director of Real Estate for NIAGARA Worldwide says, “One can imagine how difficult it is to search and qualify the large number of inquiries and requests when a property like this is offered for sale. We began negotiations with the ultimate buyer at the time that Brokaw Development initially bought the property back in August of 2012 and have worked hundreds of man-hours with this group and others to ultimately create a deal that worked for both parties, despite the appearance of local pressure.” Ultimately, NIAGARA Worldwide structured a sale that it believes will be beneficial to its stakeholders, the property’s purchaser and the community as a whole.

On April 3, 2012 the planned auction in Brokaw was delayed due in part to ongoing negotiations with buyers. As of today, the 50 acre site has been sold and the mill assets are no longer in the hands of Brokaw Development. “We regret the cancellation of the mill equipment auction, but are certain that the interest from domestic and international buyers for the items will continue and with the new owner, the property will be on a fasttrack for productive commercial use,” said Spirtas.

NIAGARA Worldwide LLC continues to focus on its seven other current developments which are at various stages of regeneration. In developments across the United States and Europe, NIAGARA Worldwide LLC is re-purposing Manufacturing Facilities, BioFuels and Biomass Power Plants, as well as managing over 2 million square feet of warehouse and office space. NIAGARA Worldwide LLC acquires, manages, markets and sells for final disposition idle industrial property and assets around the world for its own account and for the benefit of other international companies. Our experienced team of professionals focuses on each specific plant location and the needs of the surrounding community while following through with the commitment to our corporate goals and client needs.
