New York, NY (PRWEB) April 23, 2013
Professional Examination Service, the most experienced organization in professional licensure and certification services, today announced that Frank Catalano has accepted the staff position of Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), reflecting ProExam’s commitment to an expanded presence in digital technology as well as the success of clients’ credentialing programs.
Catalano has worked with ProExam since April 2012 as acting CMO on a consulting basis. Catalano, a well-known strategist and analyst in educational technology, had been the principal of Intrinsic Strategy, a consulting firm that worked with a wide range of technology-related organizations from startups to established global firms.
Catalano has experience in both assessment and credentialing. He spent several years as Senior Vice President of Marketing for Pearson’s U.S Assessment & Information Group and was an interim executive for Pearson’s Evaluation Systems business on the launch of its computer-based National Evaluation Series teacher certification testing program. Earlier, he served as interim CMO for MetaMetrics and for Boxer Learning. He is a former member of the Software and Information Industry Association’s Education Division Board, served on the SXSWedu Advisory Board, and was a consulting Senior Analyst for MDR's EdNET Insight market research service.
“Frank has not only advised us on strategic initiatives, but has taken the lead in more effectively highlighting the credentialing insights our customers expect,” said Robert S. Block, president and CEO, Professional Examination Service. “Frank’s combination of tech savvy, assessment experience and ability to clearly evaluate market trends will help us as we move forward with new initiatives such as ProExam Digital Micro-Credentials, and also our clients as they look to us for marketing support on best practices.”
