There has never been anything like Two70 on land, let alone sea, It exemplifies our idea of transformational environments.

Leading with its progressive vision in cruise line architecture, 5+design, the California based design studio, announced its design plans for Royal Caribbean’s groundbreaking Quantum Line.
“There has never been anything like Two70 on land, let alone sea,” said Tim Magill, partner of 5+design. “It exemplifies our idea of transformational environments – creating the framework for wide range of activities and uses within one space.”
5+design has combined its highly creative design style with technical innovations to create Two70 and Vistarama, an exquisitely versatile venue never seen or done before on a cruise ship.
During the day, Two70 takes on the ambiance of a grand living room, perfect for games, lounging, reading or early morning coffee. An organic topography of elliptical spaces create a variety of intimate social spaces for friends, families and small groups. At night, Two70, aptly named for its breathtaking 270-degree panoramic sea views through vast, floor-to-ceiling glass walls, gradually transforms into a beacon of spectacular, mysterious and unbarred entertainment for guests to enjoy.
Two70’s construct is cemented in 5+design’s mission of creating an “outside” experience for an inside venue, championing Royal Caribbean’s effective all-weather ship. The venue will also become the zenith for live performances as its design allows for shows to be presented in a multidimensional experience, engaging the audience on every level through a combination of live entertainment, including aerialists, as well as breathtaking digital scenery.
Converging design, technology and acute attention to detail, 5+design has crafted a dazzling space that fuses the best of entertainment with the luxuries of relaxation.
