The Healthcare Private Equity Association (HCPEA) is pleased to announce the promotion of Karen Kajmo to Vice President, Strategic Initiatives.
Ms. Kajmo has been with HCPEA since its inception in 2010. As founding Executive Director, she was responsible for creating HCPEA’s infrastructure and managing its day-to-day operations. In her new role, Kajmo will focus on expanding understanding of private equity’s contributions to the healthcare economy as well as developing benefits that deliver unique value to HCPEA’s member firms.
HCPEA is coming off another active and successful year that saw it increase event participation, welcome Marwood Group as a new sponsor, and expand member services and resources.
The Riverside Company’s Principal of Healthcare and HCPEA President Joseph Ibrahim said that the promotion reflected the growth and success of HCPEA.
“Karen has played an integral role in making HCPEA the success that it is since the very beginning,” said Ibrahim. “We’re delighted to recognize her important efforts and we’re excited about her future contributions. She’s a remarkable asset.”
