Portland, Maine USA (PRWEB) April 24, 2013
Management Research Group (MRG) studied 771 managers and department heads between the ages of 20-35. Their bosses rated individuals using MRG's Leadership Effectiveness Analysis assessment, which assesses 22 leadership practices and 26 competency areas. The results found that those individuals considered to have "unlimited" future potential when compared to those rated below that level scored significantly higher on:
"This research on high-potential leaders illustrates an opportunity to develop effective leaders who may not be viewed as having the highest future potential", said Rob Kabacoff, Ph.D. and V.P. of Research at MRG. "The effectiveness of high-potential leaders can be enhanced by focusing their development on building strong relationships, taking time to gather input, understanding the value of constructively persuading others and slowing down enough to bring others along with them."
On May 15, 2013, MRG will be conducting a free webinar about this study and the findings. For more information or to register, please visit us at http://bit.ly/ZldZ4e
