One of the great joys for TOA physicians and employees is to give back to the communities in which we practice.
Greater Triangle Area, North Carolina (PRWEB) April 29, 2013
Triangle Orthopaedic Associates, P.A. is hosting a Sports Physical Night which will provide local athletes and organizations with the opportunity to support their programs. The exams cost $10 and 100% goes back to each athlete’s respective organization or school. No appointment is required for any athlete or organization to receive a physical. Also, this is the fifth year that Triangle Orthopaedics has offered a Sports Physical event with the goal of supporting local athletes and their programs. Nearly $33,000 has been raised for various Triangle athletic organizations over the past four years.
“Triangle Orthopaedics’ annual Spring Sport Physicals are really a win-win for everyone. One of the great joys for TOA physicians and employees is to give back to the communities in which we practice. In the case of our sports physicals, not only do we get to give back to the community, but middle school and high school students are able to receive an affordable physical which they must have in order to participate in athletics at their school. This is a requirement by the state and must be updated annually. It is essentially the easiest fundraiser that a school could do. It’s amazing to think that some of the area’s best athletes walk through our doors every year and we hope to see many of them again on May 1st,” Sports Medicine Marketing Manager Brandon Sherrell stated.
TOA Sports Physicals will take place on May 1st, 2013 from 6:00 p.m.-8:00p.m. in Triangle Orthopaedics’ offices in Apex, Chapel Hill, Durham, Clayton, Raleigh, Roxboro and Wake Forest-Wakefield. A sports physicals night will also be held on May 14, 2013, in Triangle Orthopaedics’ Erwin office, in order to support the communities and organizations in Harnett County.
