For cooling data centers, inrow cooling is a precise method of delivering required cooling to the servers directly.

Premier Solutions Co., a Southern California-based distributor of IT products and services, has been selected by Southern California Edison (SCE) to supply the APC inrow cooling solution for their 1,600 ft. call center.
SCE’s move to update their infrastructure is part of the recent trend of broad scale changes in data centers as they transition to meet the growing demands of increased traffic. Like SCE, many companies are currently taking a number of steps to improve data center efficiency, especially related to containment, increased inlet air temperature on servers, and increased monitoring of cooling.
“Traditional cooling dating back to the 70’s does not meet the demands of today’s computing power and capacities, and precision inrow cooling meets the demands in a calculated manner, much needed for today’s centers that are seen as vital to company growth and competing advantages,” states Bill Montgomery, founder and CEO of Premier Solutions Co. “Not only does the center need to be up and running 24/7, it needs to handle capacities and demands for growth. For cooling data centers, inrow cooling is a precise method of delivering required cooling to the servers directly, and serves as a supplement to the existing room cooling.”
As a critical infrastructure supporting solution, the combination of inrow precision cooling and containment of rows will play a pivotal role in the goal to contain hot air or cool air, increase efficiency, and provide cool air directly to the heat source. For SCE, the APC solution is a modular and scalable architecture that will encompass server cabinets, power management, and cooling integration.
