Audio-Digest Foundation Announces the Release of Urology Volume 36, Issue 04: Pediatric Urology.

The goals of this program are to improve diagnosis and management of congenital urologic anomalies and to improve aftercare of survivors of childhood urologic neoplasms. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to:

1. List the advantages and disadvantages of prenatal ultrasonography for detection of fetal anomalies.
2. Trace the history of improvements in surgical, postoperative, and psychologic care of patients with anomalies of the urinary tract.
3. Provide immediate postnatal care and arrange appropriate referrals for an infant with cloacal exstrophy (CE).
4. Discuss options for management of fecal and urinary continence and sexual identity in patients with CE.
5. Manage the care of a young adult with a history of pediatric rhabdomyosarcoma or Wilms tumor.

The original programs were presented by Robert A. Wiebe, MD, Clinical Professor, Pediatric Emergency Medicine, University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas, and Lalit Bajaj, MD, MPH, Associate Professor of Pediatrics, University of Colorado School of Medicine, and Research Director, Section of Emergency Medicine, Children’s Hospital, Denver.
