With the recent launch of a new website design, the Northfield Park District is following this up with a mobile-friendly version of the new website that is optimized for residents on the go with smartphones.

We wanted to make a website that our residents could get on and find the information they're looking for as quickly as possible.

The Internet is expanding at a rapid rate and the usage of smartphones to access the Internet has been growing exponentially. To keep up with this rising demand, the Northfield Park District has created a mobile-friendly version of their new website. Offering easy to read text, less images for a faster web-browsing experience, and large, easy to click buttons; the website allows the residents of Northfield to access information easily and quickly.

"We wanted to make a website that our residents could get on and find the information they're looking for as quickly as possible," said George Alexoff, the Director of the Northfield Park District. "Having this mobile version allows for exactly that. You don't have to zoom-in to read text or mess around trying to click tiny web links, the website does all the work for you."

About Us: The Northfield Park District is home to three parks: Willow Park, Clarkson Park, and Fox Meadow Park. There are also indoor facilities such as the Community Center and Fitness Center.
