Rapid City, SD (PRWEB) April 30, 2013
Strider Sports International, developer of the patented STRIDER™ No-Pedal Balance Bikes, is bringing the Strider World Cup™ to Charlotte, North Carolina for the USA BMX Tarheel Nationals May 11th at Hornet’s Nest BMX (located within Hornet’s Nest Park), 6301 Beatties Ford Road, Charlotte, NC 28216.
The season-long Strider World Cup series gives toddlers ages two to five the chance for friendly competition at events across the country. No prior experience needed. The Strider World Cup races are perfect for both beginners and more experienced riders alike.
The Strider World Cup race will drop the gate at 11:15am on Saturday, with registration from 7:30 to 9:30am. The toddlers ride their balance bikes on a small portion of the same track being used for the USA BMX Tarheel Nationals and the UCI Pro Series race featuring the fastest BMX racers in the world. Be sure to get a spot on the fence to see many of the same racers who participated in last summer’s London Olympics.
USA BMX Strider memberships are available for $25. The membership includes the racer’s first Strider World Cup race and a USA BMX membership card. Participating in a race at any USA BMX National will qualify the racer for the Strider World Championship this fall in Sarasota, Florida.
Strider Sports founder and CEO Ryan McFarland says, “At Strider Sports we are committed to supporting a fun, safe, and healthy lifestyle through bicycling. Our partnership with USA BMX has introduced hundreds of children to bicycling at a younger age than ever before. We can’t wait to continue spreading the love of cycling that will keep them fit and healthy for years to come.”
