The classroom and studio experience that our students gain will help to make them employment-ready when they graduate and connect with our worldwide network of industry-leading alumni, who are always on the lookout for talented new hires.

The Nashville campus of SAE Institute, recently recognized as the best audio recording and engineering school in America by Vibe Magazine, has chosen education professional Lynn Dorton to be its new Campus Director. Dorton will oversee all aspects of the operations, management, and enrollment responsibilities for the school.

“SAE is well-positioned to leverage its national and international presence as a global leader in creative media education,” says Dorton. “With more college students concerned about taking on too much student loan debt, SAE makes a refreshingly compact program available at an affordable price.”

Dorton spent the previous 10 years in Bradenton, Florida, where she was the director of student enrollment at IMG Academy, a private athletic training institute for youth, high school, collegiate, and professional athletes. Her background also includes extensive business development experience in the financial services industry as well as hands-on experience as a former owner of a contracting firm that specialized in government projects.

Dorton holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from East Tennessee State University.

“SAE Nashville is the perfect place for aspiring audio engineers and music business professionals to gain essential classroom and studio experience from our industry-leading faculty, which includes a number of Grammy-winners,” says Dorton. “This knowledge will help to make our grads employment-ready as they connect with our worldwide network of industry-leading alumni, who are always on the lookout for talented new hires.”

SAE Institute Nashville offers accredited diplomas and Associate of Applied Science degrees in their Music Business program as well as their Audio Technology program. Part-time and full-time schedules are available. Financial aid is available to students who qualify and the G.I. Bill is accepted.
