Pro Bloom probiotic supplement for cats and dogs

“We’ve taste-tested Pro Bloom™ ourselves and with the staff’s own dogs as well as those of select consumers, and it’s proven to be irresistible even to very fussy pups–including those with sensitive GI tracts and dealing with long term health challenges."

San Diego, Calif. (PRWEB) April 30, 2013

The Honest Kitchen, maker of all natural pet foods, treats and supplements, has announced a new all-natural probiotic supplement for cats and dogs. Pro Bloom™ is an instant goat’s milk for dogs and cats with five billion added probiotics and digestive enzymes.

The company has partnered with a goat farm in Washington State to create the proprietary formulation for Pro Bloom™, which is made from human grade goat’s milk from pasture-raised, free-ranging goats. It’s naturally free of pesticides, herbicides, growth hormones and antibiotics. The raw product is pasteurized for 20 seconds before being dehydrated at 120°F to avoid harsh processing.

Pro Bloom™ probiotic supplement can be used by dogs and cats of all sizes and life stages. It’s ideal for puppies and kittens to provide additional calories and digestive enzymes. Pro Bloom™ is also suitable during rehabilitation and used as a digestive aid and for animals needing general immune support at the gut level. It can be served as a standalone supplement, or can also be used to hydrate The Honest Kitchen food, or used to moisten a dry kibble.

“We’ve taste-tested Pro Bloom™ ourselves and with the staff’s own dogs as well as those of select consumers, and it’s proven to be irresistible even to very fussy pups – including those with sensitive GI tracts and dealing with long term health challenges. It can be served alone, or used to hydrate The Honest Kitchen’s foods,” stated Lucy Postins, The Honest Kitchen’s founder and CEO.

Goat’s milk is a rich, complete source of protein including the amino acids leucine, threonine, tryptophan and lysine, as well as calcium, vitamins A, B2, B6, C and D, and potassium. Goat’s milk rarely causes lactose intolerance because it contains slightly less lactose than cow’s milk and is more easily digested, meaning less lactose residues in the gut to cause intolerance.

Pro Bloom™ will be available to consumers in early May and is being offered in a box of 16 individual packets of powder, which yield a total of 16 cups of fresh warm milk when hydrated with warm water. The MSRP is $23.99 and the box will last a 30lb dog 48 days, when fed daily. Pro Bloom™ is shelf stable, with much of the same benefits as fresh or frozen goat’s milk, and is available at http://www.thehonestkitchen.com, and at independent pet nutrition stores.
