Education Pioneers, a national nonprofit organization committed to transforming education, announced today that Mike Fox, Director of Global Vertical Marketing at Facebook, joined its National Board. Fox brings a wealth of experience at a time of significant growth for Education Pioneers.

In addition to his passion for the mission of Education Pioneers, Fox has broad industry experience leading growth in all sectors of the marketing ecosystem. Prior to joining Facebook, Fox was Vice President of Strategic Integration at CNN, managing a team that developed multi-platform advertiser sponsorships across CNN, Turner Broadcasting, and Time Inc. properties. Fox began his career in advertising on the agency side, working primarily with luxury brands; following that, he took a role as Marketing Manager at Sony Electronics, and then as Director of Marketing for the Snapple Beverage Group. As one of Facebook’s first thousand employees, Fox has deep experience in strategies and leadership for growth-minded marketing. He is currently the Director of Global Vertical Marketing at Facebook and holds a BA in Sociology from Syracuse University.
