Tuscaloosa, AL (PRWEB) May 02, 2013
Accessibility eBooks, LLC, Fair Housing Solutions, LLC, and E&A Team, Inc are pleased to announce the availability of iPad Multi-Touch Version of each chapter of the Fair Housing Act Design Manual.
Mark English, president of the companies involved in the creation of the eBook chapters states, "We have enhanced the Fair Housing Act Design Manual and its requirements with video explanations by our experts, photo enhanced diagrams, and color photos of the hardest to understand issues. Plus, we’ve added word/phrase search ability, digital bookmarking, and highlighting ability so that the reader may know what actions on their part will provide them with a 'safe harbor'."
The Fair Housing Act Design Manual provides comprehensive information about accessibility requirements which must be incorporated into the design and construction of multifamily housing covered by the Act. On April 29, 2013, the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the Department of Justice (DOJ) issued new guidance confirming that new construction must comply with all accessibility requirements found in the Fair Housing Act Design Manual.
The Multi-Touch iPad chapter versions will lend greater insight and understanding of the design requirements to builders, architects, property owners and managers, attorneys, and contractors.
The introduction and all seven chapters of the Fair Housing Act Design Manual are available separately in the Apple iBookstore. The iBookstore is easily accessed from the iBooks app included on all iPads. The price per chapter ranges from $9.99 to $24.99. Free sample pages from each chapter are also available in the iBookstore.
For customers who purchase the introduction and all seven chapters, a rebate of $10 is available from Accessibility eBooks, LLC. More information about the rebate is available on EandATeam.com under the Products Section.
