PLS was listed among Chicago’s Largest Privately Held Companies in this week’s issue of Crain’s Chicago Business. The publication’s annual list ranks the largest privately held companies in the Chicago area, based on revenue. PLS posted 2012 revenues of $254 million.

With more than 3,800 employees, PLS is the 18th largest local employer and the 41st largest national employer of the companies on Crain’s list. In addition, Crain’s noted that PLS grew its local workforce 45 percent last year, eighth highest among the companies listed.

Earlier this year. PLS was listed among the Top 100 Job-Creating Companies in the U.S. by Inc. magazine, which honored the company with its Hire Power Award.
