Independent developer Grim Genie publicly announces the release of Space Eon. After recognizing the enormous potential in Android-based devices, Grim Genie has released its first 3D accelerometer based game "Space Eon 3D" for $0.99 through Android Market. Grim Genie is also releasing a demo version "Space Eon 3D Lite" for free.
Space Eon is a 3D futuristic shooter game that features the gamer as a spaceship pilot with no memory of the past. The gamer must overcome obstacles; changing environments, space mines and hostile enemies. Space Eon features unlock-able ships, upgrades, power ups, new abilities and ships for hire. Players must blast their way through 20 challenging missions including 10 story and 10 extreme difficulty missions. Designed from the ground up for optimization with all Android devices, Space Eon features high and low-graphic settings for a lag-free experience on virtually all phones.

"There were many challenges developing our first title but we are confident we built a game with solid game-play."
The gamer takes to battle in a fully functional 3D game environment following general's orders. The player is summoned to combat time and time again not to question orders while getting closer to discovering the past. The gamer must use quick reflexes and all the power ups available in a mission such as 'push shot' and 'spread shot' when facing increasingly challenging enemies and puzzle-like levels.
