Washington, DC (PRWEB) May 01, 2013
More than 15 million project management roles are likely to be created this decade, according to a recent report. One area expecting its share of those jobs is in and around the nation’s capital. That’s why the Project Management Professionals (PMPs) at Cheetah Learning (http://www.CheetahLearning.com) have picked two convenient locations in Virginia for aspiring project managers to take Cheetah’s PMP Exam Prep.
The new Project Management Talent Gap Report, published in March, anticipates “15.7 million new project management roles added globally across seven project-intensive industries by 2020.”
The report goes on to say: “High demand for project-oriented professionals is reflected in both average salary and salary growth. Project Management Professional (PMP) credential holders in the U.S. earned an average of 16 percent more (approximately US $14,500) than their non-credentialed peers in 2011.”
Aspiring project managers considering such job opportunities should download the free report titled “The Most Important Credential in Washington DC.” It’s available by filling out a simple form at http://www.cheetahlearning.com/DCPMP/index.htm.
Among the free report’s findings: “The PMP credential is not just valuable in DC, but increasingly essential in various industries and government throughout the world as we all become more interconnected and speaking the same language in how we do our projects can mean the difference between success and failure.”
