Just one year after its introduction, girls’ fashion clothing line http://www.puppyluvglam.com Puppy Luv Glam® has entered into a licensing agreement with the ASPCA® (The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals®). For every garment sold from the Puppy Luv Glam line, $2 will be donated to the animal welfare organization.
“When I founded Puppy Luv Glam in 2012, my mission was two-fold; to create cute clothes with a puppy motif that my daughter could enjoy, and to raise awareness and funds for animals in need,” said Priya Mittelmark, founder of Puppy Luv Glam. “I am thrilled and honored to be able to support the http://aspca.com ASPCA's life-saving work for animals across the country.”
After years of trying to conceive, Mittelmark gave birth to a daughter at age 40 and decided to take the challenge of becoming an entrepreneur. Inspired by the love for her beautiful daughter and faithful dogs, the idea for Puppy Luv Glam was born when she realized that the majority of puppy-themed baby clothing was for boys. "This was my "Aha" moment. I was motivated to design a dog logo based clothing line for girls that raised awareness for animal advocacy and donated funds to the cause," says Mittelmark.
The fashion line is fun and upbeat with a touch of glitz and glam, including the brand’s logo that is a pink puppy with the words "http://puppyluvglam.com/shop-collection "spoiled and fabulous" adorned with SwarovskiTM crystals. The catch phrase is rooted in Mittelmark’s belief that every rescue animal deserves to have a “spoiled and fabulous” life.
“I want girls of all ages to feel confident and realize they are spoiled and fabulous regardless of material things. They can conquer the world if they want to; It’s a state of mind,” said Mittelmark.
